Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Overall 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least 1 year of PCU experience License: Valid compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS ACLS Must-Have: Current acute care experience within the last 12 months 1 year of PCU experience Description: This position is focused on providing care for adult and geriatric patients. The primary patient population includes newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients. Nurses will have a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention. Staffing ratios aim for 1:4 but may adjust to 1:5 depending on unit needs. Nurses may rotate between day and night shifts as per departmental requirements. Responsibilities include telemetry interpretation, blood product administration, and IV therapy. Experience in managing dysrhythmias and central line care is essential. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. Candidates should have familiarity with computerized charting systems. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. References must include two professional contacts, with one being from a managerial or supervisory role. About Cynet Health
